Iglesia Bautista Faro de Luz was established in 2000 and serves primarily Latino migrant workers in Jupiter, Florida. Early in 2009 the work was handed over to Jorge Gomez, who was saved and trained under the ministry of Ron Maggard. Ron continues to act as Pastor Emeritus for IBFL and teaches in the Baptist Evangelism Bible Institute each week. IBFL is also the home of Carelink International Clinic (see www.carelinkinternational.org) which the Maggards founded in 2002. The clinic offers free, safety net health care to the uninsured in the area and has been a tremendous evangelistic tool for the church's area ministry. The church also has a great mission heart. Two other young men, Salomon Gomez and Edmundo Diaz have been sent out by the church and are starting churches in Guatemala.
